Once upon a time... A witch had enough of travelling the world with her broom. It was so out of fashion for a lady. Year after year passed and she was storming her brain in order to replace it by a flying machine. Thus the centuries went by, the earth proved to be round, Asterix' heaven did not collapse and our witch fell in love! With a gentleman named James Watt. He too, was a nerd - and a good husband. He dealt with the household and the broom and left his wife to the laboratory. Your must know, women tend to expand their place of activity. The witch let her tools lie around and the kitchen remained cold. What else was left than to nibble from the house in order not to starve to death. It has to be mentioned that the hut had gained fame for its sugar frameworks. In the lapse of time it had become a popular tourist destination. There was an end to it now.
The last cake shingle was eaten by two siblings, Hansel and Gretel. They had gone to the wood with father and mother to collect mushrooms as they were too old and weak already to earn their own income. Hansel and Gretel, however, wanted to conquer the world. They left their parents to destiny, assembled all the little pebbles the parents had spread for better orientation and off they went.
But there was no "gnibble, gnibble, gnaw..." From bottom to top, from the inside to the outside the hut was filled with tools, gears and other technical stuff. When they broke off the last cake shingle, a roar could be heard, it smoked and steamed... The witch appeared, threw apron and broom in the corner, gave the children the key to the front door and off she flew. In an airship which she and her husband had constructed during comfy evening hours with a glass of whine and a cigar. (For memory reasons, the airship was shaped like it). And thus they flew into the world - without broom nor apron. A new age had broken. And they all lived happily ever after.
