As always I love to dive into a new adventure and explore every possiblity of it. As a matter of fact, however, you would never ever find my head beyond water which is more than knee-deep. I find this horrifying... But it sound so nice... To dive into something... Which I did with my brush in wax... Here is a new wax collage...
I was encouraged by the outcome of my most recent one and layered it with print transfers, tissue paper and a stamp. My last post included the tutorial. You will find it here.

How absolutely beautiful, Manu - your wax work is exquisite and so full of depth and meaning. I was so touched by your comment because I feel the same about your work! I always find such solace and joy in your creations - there is always thought and depth and truth to them.
I'm also very impressed and heart-warmed (that's not good English but I've got a horrid cold and my brain isn't working very well - I'm sure you know what I mean) to hear that you have taken in a refugee family. I'm not surprised though - that compassion and openness is there in all your work and in the amazing giveaways you shared recently... well, probably not that recently, but time seems to run away from me too at the moment! That's why I've not been a good blog visitor either - I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things a little more this month, but at the moment I just want to lie down with a hot water bottle I'm afraid!!
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful piece, and the link which I will certainly look at when I am feeling better. I've only played a little with wax, and it is definitely something I would like to explore more - and this is certainly inspiration to do so.

Wie gut, dass wir nicht alle das Gleiche verzapfen...sonst könnten wir uns nicht gegenseitig beschmachten. Ich hab es ja nicht so mit Blümchen, aber diese hier, sind ausgesprochen schön. Nein, ich geh jetzt nicht noch mal nachlesen, wie das geht...denn der Postbote hat neue Kalkfarbe gebracht. Ich hab noch ein paar Möbel, die zu dunkel sind....und das grob - motorische pinseln lässt sich besser unterbrechen, als die Kleinkunst. Nicht nur Milchflaschen werden an den Mann gebracht. Heute haben wir auch Selfie's probiert. Mit körperlichem Einsatz versteht sich. Auch das ist ne Kunst für sich *lol* Demnächst auf meinem Blog zu sehen :)
This piece is absolutely incredible! It looks like it belongs in a museum! It is so pretty and sophisticated and I really enjoyed seeing the subtle color palette you used.
