ATC - Vintage Collage

 

Ich habe neue Farben: Pastellkreiden, Wachskreiden in allen Regenbogenfarben, Buntstifte...
Mit den besten Absichten steuerte ich meinen Arbeitstisch an, breitete alle Medien aus, fand ein früher gebasteltes ATC, das ich in mein neues Werk integrieren wollte und - blieb doch wieder bei meinem altbewährten Farbschema: Natur pur (mit ein wenig Schwarz). Da fühle ich mich zuhause, das fließt mir aus den Fingern, dem Pinsel, dem Wachstopf, der Seele (vor allem das Schwarz, hihi).

 

Hier dürft Ihr gucken, wenn Ihr mögt: Meine Collage aus allem was ich habe: Wachs, Acryl, Pastell, Karton, irgendeiner Handwerkermetallnetzstruktur aus dem Werkraum (hoffentlich nichts Wichtiges), Goldfolie, mit denen Schokolädchen eingepackt waren, Buchstreifen, einem bestempelten Schilfblatt...
Wichtig ist der gute Untergrund: Gesso (oder übrig gebliebene Wandfarbe). Darauf halten alle anderen Farben bombig.

I have new colours: Pastels, wax crayons in all colours of the rainbow, colouring pencils...
I had the best intentions when I approached my working desk, I spread all  materials around me, found an ATC I had created earlier and which I wanted to integrate into my new piece. But - whatever happens, I still stick to my old colour scheme: pure nature (with a little bit of black). There I feel at home, it runs out of my fingers, my paint-brush, the wax-melting pot, my soul (above all the black,  heehee). 

You may have a look, if you wish: My collage made from everything I have: wax, acrylics, pastels, corrugated cardboard, some unidentifiable metal structure from hubby's workroom (hopefully nothing important), gold wrapping of delicious chocolates, strips of old books, a stamped piece of reed. Sure I have forgotten something, but see for yourselves.
Don't forget: Mind the base for a piece like that: Gesso (or left-over wall paint). It gives the necessary grip to all other mediums.
